Analyzing A Company’s Corporate Communication Functions

Using simple and common English words, write a paper (ONLY 1500 words) recommending a corporate communication plan for a company of your choice. The paper should demonstrate the your ability to
critically identify, analyze, and develop strategic communication plans for your chosen company.
You will select one local or regional, or international company and examine its corporate communication activities focusing on the variety of communication functions that were studied through the book:
Reputation Management: The Key to Successful Public Relations and Corporate Communication-2nd Edition. Functions may include: – Internal communication
-Media relations
-Crisis communication
-Corporate responsibility (sustainability)
-Investor relations
Your research activities could include: obtaining information by conducting interviews with company personnel and figures, visiting the company’s website, examining the company’s social media platforms and
activities (i.e. twitter, face book, wikis, YouTube) or by examining other corporate media (i.e. company journals, magazines, newspapers, newsletters, television and radio pieces). The chosen company might
not perform communication activities in all of the functions. However, you are expected to review all communication activities of the company by commenting on any strengths, weaknesses and/or current
challenges; and by developing a corporate communication plan for the company based on your knowledge and analysis of its current communication activities. The most important outcome will be a corporate
communication plan to help the company achieve its overall strategic goals.
